Engineering ownership. Led an EU Horizon 2020-funded open-source platform rewrite, coordinating architecture, implementation, accessibility, plugins, releases and community communication.
Team multiplier. Mentored 13 student developers across three programme formats, using reviews, milestones and documentation to turn learning into shipped work.
Research-to-system translation. Connected dependable computing, robotics, machine perception and spatial interaction research to deployable software constraints.

Execution discipline. Structure projects around four practical workstreams: architecture, implementation, operations and stakeholder communication.

Computer Science and engineering education
Teaching practice. Delivered 11 recorded engagements on Git, dependable computing, embedded systems and decentralised networks, with four talks turned into reusable public resources.
Mentoring. Supported 13 students through code review, architecture guidance and incremental delivery across GSoC, a community-funded programme and FEUP teams.
Pedagogy. Completed evidence-based undergraduate STEM teaching training and Portuguese trainer certification, applying active learning to practical technical competence.
